I got pushed around a little then, which only made me more certain that I was on the right track.  In years since - about every four years - I feel simultaneously like leading the revolution and also like crawling into a cave, far away from televised politics.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;I still have faith in people, but -20% faith in bipartisan politics.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;p&gt;Instead of offering a personal rant today, I offer you one by a friend.  Call me quietly-pissed, but Dan is steaming with rage and fire. Waiting to hear back from &lt;a href="http://www.newamericanpaintings.com/"&gt;New American Paintings&lt;/a&gt; about whether we'll be in the next issue for our region, and we just applied for the &lt;a href="http://www.seattleartmuseum.org/visit/bowen.asp"&gt;Betty Bowen Award&lt;/a&gt;.  We also have some shows coming up: Rebecca and I are going to be in an exhibition called pARTners at the &lt;a href="http://www.kirklandartscenter.org/"&gt;Kirkland Arts Center&lt;/a&gt; in October.  Both of us have a few works up now at &lt;a href="http://www.aronpacker.com"&gt;Aron Packer Gallery&lt;/a&gt; in Chicago.  Rebecca has her solo show at &lt;a href="http://www.pacinilubel.com"&gt;Pacini Lubel Gallery&lt;/a&gt; in October, and in November, I'll be in a 10-year retrospective exhibition of past members at &lt;a href="http://www.soilart.org"&gt;SOIL Gallery&lt;/a&gt;. In short, a way to solve the complex problem of building the logic of integrated circuitry using a programming language.  Reading a very dry text and drinking a lot of coffee.  Thanks to the nice people at &lt;a href="http://www.symphonyeda.com/"&gt;Symphony EDA&lt;/a&gt; I've been able to use a free programming environment and simulator for the language...
